In the picture above, from left to right, are Larsene
Taylor (Vice President of Local 150), Ashaki Binta (UE
project staff and coordinator of the International Worker
Justice Campaign), Andrew Dinkelaker (District 6 President),
and Dana McKeithan (Executive Board member of Local 150).
In the picture below, Cedric Williams (member of Local
150) is raising the petition board. He was fired unjustly
for his union activism and for organizing his co-workers
at the Charlotte sanitation department. The UE is taking
on the city to get Cedric his job back. [Click here for more info.] This is but one example of the conditions workers face
in North Carolina that need to change today!
