This work created many opportunities for members
to learn about the struggle in North Carolina and
to do something about it. Dave Allen of Local
506 stated, "I am proud to be a part of reaching
out across state lines to support our brothers and
sisters in this historic fight.... it renews my
sense of purpose in the fight for justice."
