| This is the end product of over a month of work traveling to
locals, making phone calls, and collecting signatures and pictures.
As District President I would like to thank everyone who got
involved in making this solidarity petition successful. The
work you put in came across loud and clear. Thanks to Local
506 Dave Allen and Matt McCracken who took the 10 1/2 hour trip
down to Raleigh, NC to deliver and present the petitions with me.
Matt McCracken said, "I was proud to present on behalf of the members of District Six the petition boards to Local 150 and the International Worker Justice Campaign. To me the nice touch was adding the photos of members to the petitions to show the folks in NC who was standing behind their cause. I know it created a real sense of ownership for us."
