Local leaders and delegates will be coming together in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania on Saturday, October 28th for the second meeting of the Eastern Region.

Andrew Dinkelaker, Eastern Region President, will welcome the delegates and introduce new delegates and guests. Frank Fusco, Secretary Treasurer will give the Financial Report and the Trustee report will also be presented. Other reports will include General Executive Board report, sub-region trainings report and reports on contract negotiations or other special situations. Recommendations from the region's Executive Board will also be brought to the members for consideration.

Bob Kingsley Director of Organizing will address the delegates and will give the Organizing Report for both the UE and the region. Kingsley will also present charters to the two newly formed locals. Chris Townsend, International Rep from the UE Washington office, will give the Political Action Report

Always a big highlight, the meeting will include shop reports from all locals in attendance.

Delegates will also be asked for their ideas for the 2007 UE National Convention. And, plenty of opportunities will be available for members to get to know each other, exchange stories and learn from one another.
